We're off...

We are leaving for our family mission trip tomorrow. Jay took off work today and we spent it packing, washing, shopping for last minute items we need to take...and practicing the VBS music. Our job is to lead the music for our campground ministry time. It worked out great because we spent all week at VBS, so we know all the music by heart!

Jay just got a call a few minutes ago from our Families on Mission leader that a pastor of a local church had a stroke today. They asked Jay to preach in his place on Sunday. Please pray for this pastor, his congregation, and Jay as he puts together a sermon on really short notice!

We will have wireless at the hotel we are staying in...so I will try to post during the week...but I can't promise!

Please keep us in your prayers as we minister together this week. We can't wait! The girls have been so excited and have been a big help getting ready today. With VBS all week, we tried to rest some today too.
